Results from the USM High School Invitaional Track Meet last Friday.

Picayune boys finished 7th out of 20 teams and the girls 8th out of 21 teams.
"Our girls team is struggling through some early season injuries right now so it's hard to judge our overall

performance. Some of the girls are not stepping up like we need them to, but some are having a great

year so far like senior Deshirra Jackson and freshman Sarah Richard," Coach Todd stated.

Coach John Feaster said of his boys team," We have several first year runners that are showing some

promise such as Ken Breland, Davlin Acker, Des Taylor. The distance runners have been working hard

and their times are way ahead of this point in the season last year."
