The Picayune Lady Tide suffered their second loss of

the young season at the hands of the Stone Co. Tomcats. 

Kasey Mitchell allowed 6 hits, hit two batters and walked three. 

The Tide defense helped out their opponents offense committing

five errors on the night.  Stone's timely hitting and Picayune's

errors saw the Tomcats score 2 in the 3rd, two in the 5th and

1 in the 6th to defeat the Lady Tide.

The Tide's lone run was scored by Kellye Bolar who singled

to start the 4th inning.  Kellye advanced to second on a wild

pitch and scored on a fielders choice by Cassie Rabion. 

Picayune (2-2) will be back in action Thursday as they travel to

Hattiesburg and then at home Friday against Ocean Springs.
