The Picayune Diamond Backers hosted a end of the season banquet for the Lady Tide Slow Pitch Softball Team. 

The Lady Tide ended their season with a 15-10 mark.  The banquet was held at the high school cafeteria and was catered by Fat Boys BBQ. 

Approximately 70 people were in attendance including players, players'  family, and guests.  Ms. Kristie Pinero was the guest speaker of the night informing parents and students of the new requirements for athletic participation as well as speaking about an athlete's role in the school system.  Honored guest included Mr. John Young of Young Photography for his countless hours spent on the field. 

After a wonderful meal, the coaching staff presented each Lady Tide Player with a certificate.  Three special seniors were recognized for the time and effort they have put into the Lady Tide program.  The seniors include Kellye Bolar, Sarah Trexler and Kasey Mitchell.

Individual awards were given by the coaching staff based on the seasonal stats.  Sarah Trexler earned each of the offensive awards by bringing home the highest batting average, best on base percentage, most runs scored and most RBI.  Hillary Dickens received the best fielding percentage award. 

The team and their guest enjoyed a cake and refreshments to close out the night.
