Maroon Tide opens season with wins at Columbia Jamboree

Columbia--The Maroon Tide got off to a good start winnning both of their games at Columbia. Picayune defeated

Loyd Star 6-5 in game one and then defeated host Columbia 7-2 in game two. 

Ricky Rimkus picked up the win in game one.   Bryce Ladner got the win in game 2 and collected 3 hits on the day.

Brandon Jurich and Jared Bales each banged out 4 hits on the day.  Ladner and Jurich each hit home runs.

The Maroon Tide will play in the Hancock Tournament in the Kiln on Friday and Saturday.
